Hard light versus soft light; a sunny day versus a cloudy day; strong shadows versus no shadows.
Fairly simple when shooting outdoors but often an obstacle for beginners when shooting in the studio. Mastering Hard Light & Soft Light is the key to shooting with consistency in any kind of rooms, at any time of day, comes rain or shine.
During this workshop, Megan will guide you through the process of understanding and harnessing both hard and soft light in the studio environment.
You will learn how to create different moods, enhance textures, and add depth to your images using these two distinct lighting styles.

The characteristics and qualities of hard light and soft light
Techniques for shaping and modifying light to achieve the desired effects
