2-in-1 Beauty and Jewellery Workshop, that’s right!
While their specific focus and objectives make Beauty and Jewellery photography two distinct specialties in the world of commercial and artistic photography, they both share common principles of lighting and composition. In this workshop, Alma and Emily will be taking you through key concepts of detail photography and teaching you different approaches to beauty and jewellery lighting.

Workshop takeaways:

  • Learn how to light your subject, from creating soft, flattering light for portraits to using harsher light for jewellery detailing

  • Learn and practice composition principles specific to beauty and jewellery photography

  • Understand how to capture intricate textures and fine details in beauty and jewellery subjects

  • Work with a combination of strobes and continuous lights and achieve a variety of visual effects commonly used in detail photography
